Biography
Hailing from East Rand, Johannesburg, Vuyina is a passionate singer and songwriter whose love for music was nurtured by her musical upbringing. She was influenced by artists like Brandy, Tamia, Lighthouse Family, and Dolly Parton.

Vuyina displayed a remarkable talent for music at a very young age, and by 13, she was already writing her own song lyrics. At just 17 years old.While still in high school, she released her first body of work EP, Journey
Vuyina's enchanting debut EP, Journey, resonated with her audience by addressing relatable issues such as societal expectations, self-doubt, friendship, and identity. The EP attracted over half a million streams and was Shazamed more than 10,000 times.

Following the success of her single Andisoze from her 3 track EP The Break Between Vuyina was presented with the opportunity to perform at the September edition of the Feel Good Series event.
In the same month, Vuyina released Uthando which features Loki from Skhanda World. Uthando served as the 1st single of her debut album and was greatly received. Vuyina’s steady growth then caught the attention of South African legend K.O, who then featured her on his album SR3 on the track Hate Luv and she also has two additional writing credits on the project.

Vuyina started 2023 with a bang, on the 10th of February she dropped the 2nd single of her highly anticipated album titled Sabela.
​
Sabela is a spiritual anthem about relying on and asking a higher power for guidance. It’s about the hardships of life getting to a person but in result they turn to someone else for help. Sabela is a reminder that although life is tough and there are downs, there is always a high that will make you forget about ever being at a low point. Our hearts greatest desires are always heard and will always come to fruition at some point in our individual journeys.

Sabela is the 2nd single of Vuyina’s debut album set to be released early this year and was produced by PLXYGRND & Murphy Cubic.
